Canada Digital Adoption Plan (CDAP) is a government initiative to help Canadian businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), adopt digital technologies and improve their competitiveness in the digital economy. The CDAP was announced in 2019 as part of the government’s Innovation and Skills Plan, and it includes a range of initiatives and funding programs to support the adoption of digital technologies by SMEs. Some of the key components of the CDAP include:Digital skills training and support for business owners and employees.
Funding for digital infrastructure and equipment. Support for businesses to adopt e-commerce and other digital sales channels. Funding for digital marketing and other digital business development activities. The goal of the CDAP is to help Canadian businesses take advantage of the many opportunities that digital technologies offer, and to ensure that they are able to compete effectively in the digital economy.

CDAP provides funding and support to businesses, as well as training and work opportunities for young Canadians.
Once eligibility is confirmed, you will be asked to choose an Approved CDAP Advisor from the menu
You will then work with your Advisor to create your personalized Digital Adoption Plan
Once your plan is ready you will submit it to the CDAP website for approval
When the Government approves your personalized plan, you will receive your grant
This is the last step involving the loan approval by BDC
